You will receive a full radon laboratory report along with the appropriate FL DOH form, filled out and signed by us. For your convenance we can submit the DOH form to the state on your behalf.
Florida School Radon Test Requirements
Florida Statute requires schools, in most counties, to test and report radon levels in their facilities.
The school buildings are required to have radon testing performed twice, five years apart.
Under some circumstances (such as significant structural renovation) additional testing may be required.
According to EPA studies, nearly one out of every five schools in the United States are estimated to have radon concentrations that exceed the EPA action level. While it is more common for below-grade rooms to have elevated radon levels, any building can have a problem.
